not so new 2 out of 5

The pages were no longer bound - falling out of the binding. Fine other than that. Good for the very cheap price I guess.

Wonderful 5 out of 5

I received this book promptly and in perfect condidtion. This is the second time I have purchased textbooks from Amazon. I won't buy my textbooks anywhere else. You can't beat the prices too!

*****Poor Contruction and overpriced!******BEWARE 1 out of 5

This book is literally falling apart. The binding glue or process used is useless. My book, classmates' books, and my professor's book-are all falling apart.

You have to treat this over sized book as if it were an ancient artifact to prevent the chapters from falling out of the book.

Good luck, hopefully your professor chooses a different book instead of this junk, hard to re-sell when it is all broken apart.

I may have to 3-hole punch the whole book and re-sell it as a loose leaf edition with a 3" binder.

Shame on the publishers for stealing our money and giving us this junk. Hopefully someone scans this book in pdf. and shares with the world as a free e-book.

excellent reference 5 out of 5

I did not have to have this book for any of my classes; however, I purchased it to serve as a reference. It has excellent descriptive pictures. I like the writing style as well- it is not too verbose and complicated.
