Good but FYI-replacement jars are no longer available! 3 out of 5

We bought this for Christmas last year and have really enjoyed using it. It has a 1 yr warranty HOWEVER when I called to get replacement lids (2 cracked) and a jar they told me that the jars are no longer available. I cannot even find them on ebay. Bummer. I think this is an important thing to consider when making a choice so Im just putting it out there. Im not sure what Im going to do to replace mine. I guess buy a new maker!

poor service 3 out of 5

I had no problems until the yogurt maker arrived. It came with a cracked lid on one of the jars. I contacted the company I purchased it from who suggested I contact Salton, but didn't provide contact information. I tried using the information on the owners manual but it no longer worked. The internet came up with dead ends. Frustrated I went back to the Purchasee who has not done anything to find a replacement for the lid.
The yogurt maker works fine but I'm upset about having a cracked lid which is sure to break in half soon with no attempt to rectify the problem.

Good product, poor shipping 5 out of 5

This yogurt maker looks good and probably makes great yogurt. When the box arrived, one glass was broken and one top was cracked. I reported this to dollarsays and they gave me excellent service. I would recommend buying from dollarsays.

love this Salton Yogurt Maker! 5 out of 5

I had one of those good ol' fashioned Salton yogurt makers of the 70's, which I loved. Over the years, a few of the containers broke, plus I just got out of the habit of making my own yogurt. Recently, I decided to give it a whirl again, so after searching several yogurt makers and reading reviews, I decided to go with this machine. The process is the same as the old recipe (simple, simple, simple) and the result is delicious, delicious, delicious!! I sweeten mine with organic honey and top it off with ground flax seed -- I refer to it as my "breakfast of champions"! I love every bite of it! We happened to have some pineapple chunks here, so a few times I've added that to my mix (amazing!) and I plan on adding seasonal fruit as available, but it is perfectly wonderful with just the honey and flax seed. I really love this updated design - looks great in my kitchen!

very pleased 4 out of 5

I love this yogurt maker, and for the price it's great! The only reason I'm ranking it a 4-star is because high quality yogurt is supposed to made at 110 degrees, and I believe this machine heats at around 140. Still the yogurt comes out thick and smooth and wonderful!
