Tag Spiderman Book 4 out of 5
My 5 year old grandson loves this reading system and is always excited to get new books
Cute buy for older children. 4 out of 5
My son is four years old and he loves this book. However, I feel it is for older children. It is set up like a comic book; I guess I am not familiar with spiderman books. I just prefer all of his other books over this one.
Christmas Present 4 out of 5
My nephew is in kindergarden; he is learning to read and is into Spiderman--so this is a great combination for him to learn! Product was delivered in a very timely manner with no problems. Thank you!!
A bit too creepy... 2 out of 5
First off... we LOOOVE the Tag Pen and the other books we've purchased. My son is 4.5 and is already devouring these books in a feverish pace. We got this Spidey one thinking it would be much like the others we've read (Pirates, Diego, Cars, etc.). It's not. First off, it's a comic book... whole-heartedly. It has comic art and comic humor, and comic edgy-ness. That being said, it was a bit too much for my guy. The premise of the story involves a scientist who's experiment goes haywire and turns him into a huge, wild beast-like lizard. The lizard-man drawing is pretty spooky and he's shown acting crazed on most pages. And, the other part of the plot is that the scientist's son is desperately trying to help Spiderman help his father reverse the botched experiment. Little boy crying about his father being in trouble... also, not something my son felt so good about.
We didn't get much further than trying to read the story once through, so I can't comment on the educational value of this one. The other books were all so mind-blowingly great! Fun, wholesome, and amazingly educational. I'm am really sad that this one didn't work out. Maybe next year it'll be less scary.
Sadly, you can't preview the books before you purchase them... so, I hope this description helps. But, I'm thinking this Spiderman book is probably also on-par with the Star Wars one, and the Ben 10 one. Bummers...
Great Book! 5 out of 5
I bought this for my four year old son and it was a huge hit. It has a number of activities that have enteratined him for hours.
