I read the reviews when deciding to buy a game. They are very helpful. I have just retired and wanted something to keep my mind sharp so I am very new to playing these games. I enjoyed the Golden Touch. The graphics were fairly good which to me is one of the most important things on a game. I hate cheap graphics and before I started reading the reviews I purchased a couple that I was disappointed in. This game is not too difficult and is relaxing to play. It was a very nice starter game for me.

I actually purchased a Samantha Swift bundle, containing The Golden Touch as well as The Rose of Athena. The games, by themselves, are nothing special. The hidden objects are usually very easy to find, and Samantha herself is located at the bottom right of your screen, giving you clues and helping you along. Since I enjoy these types of games and play some with a high degree of difficulty, this game didn't impress me. If you can do what I did and get the two games for $20 THEN I think it's a good value.

I was excited to receive this game as I had purchased Samantha Swift: The Roses of Athena and loved playing this game. I immediately began downloading, but to my disappointment kept getting an error. Therefore, I have not been able to even see what this game is about. I believe that it might be a very fun game to play.

This game has a story line so it makes it more interesting. It's hidden object game in which a list of objects needs to be found at each scene in order to progress. Some items (tools) have to be used to find other objects which are sometimes harder to find. There are fun, somewhat challening puzzles to complete along the way. I found myself liking hidden object games; they stimulate brain activity. My 4 year old nephew even helps find objects and knows what they are! It takes about three hours or so to finish, but depends on how fast you find stuff. I haven't played it again so I don't know much about replay value. $20 bucks is a decent price, but a double pack would've made the deal much better.

This game is easy enough for younger gamers and difficult enough for adults who are not into violence and/or eerie plots. They are beautifully done with bright colors and landscapes. The graphics are extremely well done and the objects blend into the landscape but are not impossible to find. The fact that they are educational is also a plus for younger and older gamers. I have a few games that are so difficult, eerie, violent, being pressured by time limits, and dark you give up playing them and are not for younger gamers. I feel there is enough violence and pressure in our daily lives. I also do not feel that the inability to get the game installed is a reason for 1 star applied to the game by someone who has not even played it. I find that these games are so enjoyable and relaxing that I have played both more than once since I received them. Thank you Mumbo Jumbo for 2 great games and the new option of finding objects in the second game is great since I have trouble seeing. I look forward to many more of this type hidden object game in the future.
